About Me

A Fight for Financial Aid is a project worked on by Misha Joby,  an 8th grader at Christensen Middle School. As a student coming from a middle-income family, she was constantly reminded about the hardships that she would have to face because of their financial status regarding university financing. Growing up, she tried her best to lessen the gap between low-income, rich, and middle-class. Studying hard and earning scholarships would be enough to even it out right? But it isn’t. Middle income families will always have to work significantly harder than others. This is why she decided to help more students learn about their situation and how they can make a change in their lives.
